PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

 

Nik is a startup founder, corporate attorney, and venture capitalist. He has extensive experience solving legal and business problems for high-growth companies, ranging from founders with an idea to publicly-traded companies. He has worked as outside general counsel, advising on complex corporate and commercial matters, product development, and operational issues. Nik is not currently practicing law at Talis. He focuses his professional time as CEO of Sydecar.

 

Prior to co-founding Talis and Sydecar, Nik was an associate at two leading law firms, Cooley and Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He also co-founded 18.Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Additionally, Nik co-founded a digital media company, worked in investment banking, and served as an operations and strategy advisor to the boards of multiple emerging companies.
